The land of Eastborough was once plagued by civil war between the major clan to the East, Drakhad, and the clan to the West, Chonoras. Their war waged on for centuries over which was the stronger of the two and which could be more cunning.
While they warred, the smaller clans in the area started to create alliances to try to best the Drakhad and the Chonoras when they thought them to be most vulnerable. So, these new alliances sat back and trained while they waited for their opportunity to strike.
As the two arrogant clans battled year after year, their size and hold over their territories were dwindling. Unlike the Chonoras, the Drakhad saw this and started shifting their focus on reclaiming their territories back from these smaller clans. They realized that if they could just hold off the Chonoras long enough to rebuild, they would eventually come out ahead.
Over the better part of a decade, the Drakhad was able to take back most of their territory all while keeping the Chonoras busy and unaware of what has transpired. The smaller clans that were still around formed one large clan known as the Bragodon. By this time, the Chonoras realized what was going on around them. They also seen that the Drakhad was in a better situation them the dwindling ranks that the mighty Chonoras once was. They still managed to hold what remaining territory they had left, but these lands were not as fruitful as what the Drakhad and the Bragodon controlled.
Today, the Chonoras is still fighting to regain better lands for their people and have shifted their focus making their lands better suited for farming and building new defensive gadgets. The desolate and mountainous regions have actually help greatly in discovering some of these new wonders. They command two great capitals rich in resources they need to continuing advancement of their clan. One capital is in the desert which is known as Desert Capitol. In Desert Capital, their advancements are created and honed for, what they would like to see, their people to become what they once were. Their second capital is Mountain Capitol. This is where the Bragodon have found the materials to create their gadgets, but soon was overrun by Chonoras. This is the life force of their people. Without the abundant resources from the mountains and innovative people from Desert Capitall, the Chonoras probably would have been long gone from the lands of Continent!
Their capital is Sundol and is ruled by Duke Thom Raaf, who was their leader during the end of the Great War of Clans and saved these people from complete annihilation from the Bragodon’s new rise to power.
